Welcome to my website. It shows a selection of my oil paintings and drawings that I have been exhibiting
and selling over the past many years. I have obtained my Master of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts , London, UK and have been represented by the Phyllis Westin gallery in Cincinnati. Prior to that I've traveled a long path along many aspects of art, studying in various countries, working on the flat surface and in 3-D space both commercially and artistically. I've hesitated a long time to put pictures of my art work on a website, because there is no way that jpg files on a monitor will ever reveal the true colors and sizes of the often large and intense works, let alone the effects of the thick paint and brush strokes.
Much of my work is as large as 5 by 10 feet, quite a bit larger than a 20" monitor. However, there have been a growing number of requests from various people to get more information about my work, background, curriculum and exhibitions. So, I gave in, but to experience the real deal, visit my studio in Haarlem.
